Day 1- Athens
Transfer from Athens airport to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Day 2 - Athens
Morning city tour of Athens includes a visit to the Acropolis and its museum. Afternoon free. (B)
Day 3 - Athens / Aegina / Poros / Hydra / Athens
Morning transfer to pier for embarkation on the cruise ship. Cruise to the saronic islands
of Aegina, Poros and Hydra. Lunch is included. Early evening transfer to your hotel. (B/L)
Day 4 - Athens / Mycenae / Olympia
Start your 4 day classical tour. Visit the famous theatre of Epidauros, Nafplion,
Mycenae, Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia. (B/D)
Day 5 - Olympia - Delphi
See Omyplia, home of the first Olympic Games in the 8th Century B/C/ Visit the sanctuary
of Zeus, the museum and Olympic Stadium. Drive through Patra and over the Rio/Antirrio
bridge, pass the town of Nafpaktos, before reaching Delphi. Dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Day 6 - Delphi / Kalambaka
Visit the castalia spring, the santuary of Athen Pronaia and Apollo Pythios. Depart to
Kalambaka for your overnight stay. (B/D)
Day 7 - Kalambaka / Meteora / Athens
Visit the breath taking Monasteries of Meteora amazingly perched on monolithic rocks.
Opportunity to see exquisite treasures of Byzantine Art inside two of the Monasteries.
Afternoon return to Athens for overnight. (B/L)

Day 8 - Athens
Free day to explore Athens on your own. (B)
Day 9 - Athens - Istanbul
After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival you will be met
and transferred to your hotel. (B)
Day 10 - Istanbul
Full day tour of Istanbul, including the Byzantine Hippodrome, Theodosiui Coumn,
The Blue Mosue, and St. Sophia Cathedral. After lunch continue on to Topkapi Palace
museum housing an overwhelming array of jewels and precious gems. Continue on to
the Grand Bazaar. (B/L)
Day 11 - Istanbul
Following breakfast drive to the pier for a ferryboat cruise along the Bosphorus, the picturesque
waterway separating Europe from Asia. After lunch visit the Asian side crossing
over the Bosphorus Suspension bridge. Visit Beylerbeyi Palace, summer residence
of the Sultans and handicrafts centre. (B/L)
Day 12 - Istanbul / Izmir / Ephesus
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for early morning flight to Izmir. Upon arrival,
we depart to tour historic Ephesus, the most complete city ever excavated. Pass the fountain
of Trayan, the library of Celcus, the 2nd century baths of Skolstica. Visit the Temple of
Hdrian and the Basicila of St. John. Return to Izmir in the evening for overnight stay. (B/L)
Day 13 - Izmir / Pergamum / Istanbul
Today visit historic Pergamum and visit Asclepion, the ancient medical centre and its
facilities. After lunch, you proceed to Pergamum Acropolis, Athena, the Trayaneum
Temples, the library, the Great Theatre Agora, the Temple of Dionysus, The Temenoses
of Hera, and Demeter, Roman Baths, Hellenistic Gate and the altar of Zeus. Return to
Izmir and transfer to airport for flight to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul. (B/L)
Day 14 - Istanbul
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flight (B)
